Description
The 9th Localization Initiative for UN-Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Education and Advocacy is a learning and advocacy initiative that promotes awareness, understanding, and local action toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It brings together students, educators, government representatives, development professionals, and other stakeholders to strengthen SDG education and encourage meaningful community participation.
Overview
The 9th Localization Initiative for UN-SDG Education and Advocacy was successfully conducted on July 29, 2026, at Bulacan Polytechnic College, Malolos City, Bulacan, with more than 70 participants from Bulacan State University (BSU), Bulacan Polytechnic College (BPC), and Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High School.
The activity featured speakers and representatives from the government, academe, business, and development sectors who shared their knowledge and perspectives on sustainable development and the SDGs. The event was held in conjunction with the 18th BLSD/ANSD Founding Anniversary and 13th Charter Anniversary.
Objectives

Description
ACI is a 4-day interactive conference for local and regional leaders, private sectors, and various stakeholders with modular learning on leadership and management, financial management and resource mobilization, SDG education, policy development, and action planning. Various speakers from the government, organizations, sustainable development experts, and the private sector will contribute to facilitating a productive conference.

Asian Network for Sustainable Development (ANSD) Inc. and Bridging Leaders for Sustainable Development Inc., in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands (CCPI), with technical support from Asuelo Management Consultancy and Impact Southeast Asia Travel and Tours, will convene the 4th Asian Convergence Initiative: Multisectoral Forum on Understanding ASEAN at the Crossroads of Progress and Development, themed “Sustaining Asian Growth through Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, on March 05–08, 2026, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
