12th Eco Forum: Attaining the Goal of 2030: Sustained Climate Action for a Resilient and Prosperous Communities for Everyone
The Bridging Leaders for Sustainable Development Inc., through the BLSD Governance and Leadership Institute (BLSD-GLI) and the Asian Network for Sustainable Development Inc., in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands (CCPI), with technical support from Asuelo Management Consultancy and Impact Southeast Asia Travel and Tours, will hold the 12th Eco Forum 2024, dubbed the High-Level Conference of Local Leaders and Stakeholders for Sustainable Communities, with the theme: "Attaining the Goal of 2030: Sustained Climate Action for Resilient and Prosperous Communities for Everyone." This event will take place from October 29 to 31, 2024, in Makati City, Philippines.
This forum brings together participants from various sectors, fields, and industries and is regarded as one of the country’s premier platforms. It creates an avenue for discussing topics, crowdsourcing ideas, and generating innovative solutions on issues such as Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Sustainable Development, Eco-Tourism, Agri-tourism, Leaders Empowerment and Good Governance, Proactive Policy and Legislation, Green Economy, Clean Energy, Food Security, Transportation and Mobility, Smart Cities and Communities, among others.
3rd Asian Convergence Initiative 2024
- ASIAN Convergence Initiative is the flagship program of BLSD for Southeast Asian cooperation, partnership and convergence for local leaders. Launched in Manila last 2017 during the 50th Asean Founding Anniversary under the Chairmanship of the Philippines.
Philippine-Japan Internet Governance Forum in conjunction with the 18th Internet Governance Forum (IGF)
- Attended the Opening Session as head of the BLSD Philippine Delegation to the 18th Annual Meeting of the 18th Internet Governance Forum 2023 in Kyoto, Japan.
The 5 days annual meeting, of global leaders, will tackle challenges confronting the Digital Economy, Artificial Intelligence , Generative AI, the Internet of Things, Digital Infrastructure among others.
The event is hosted by the United Nations- Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan.
